Biodiversity Conservation, Sustainable Development, Agriculture and Food Security
SAF works towards the conservation of biodiversity with emphasis on wetlands, mangroves, paddy fields and forests involving survey, research and advocacy. Ecological/organic farming, the fundamental solution for food security, will be the key area of work of SAF which will be carried out in a participatory mode involving local farmers and NGO’s. Sustainable development, the only proven alternative for the present day development, is the major theme area of activities of SAF.
